CRITICAL TRANSITS for APRIL and MAY.

Interesting times as the Uranus Saturn opposition goes exact for the 4th time at the end of this month, with the Moon conjuncting the Saturn end on the 25th April.  Why and how does the brief Moon make a difference? Then on the 19th May Venus gets into a T square with them whilst Jupiter opposes Saturn. THEN Uranus breaks through and ingresses into Aries, where he is conjuncted by Jupiter and the Moon whilst still at 0 degrees Aries. Ceres is at 0 degrees Capricorn and won't be impressed! What is so important about 0 degrees of the Cardinal Cross?  What are the possible synchronous events in the Collective and at what point does Superman appear?

The Goddesses of the Asteroid Belt.  

During May, Vesta can be seen with the naked eye.  She is the only asteroid that ever can be, although even she appears rarely. Why is it that the ancients didn't notice her when the night sky was their television, soap opera and constant guide to life? Why does Vesta reveal herself now?

Bearing in mind the T square and the activity of the summer in 2010, it is an excellent time to re-look at the goddesses that provide assistance with personal growth processes when so many transpersonal distortions make life complicated. 

This workshop will look at the role of the asteroid goddesses as we walk into the 21st century.

Transpersonal Venus, Saturn and the Earth Element.  

This talk will consider the pairing of Venus and Saturn within the Earth element.  What is about planet Earth's twin that meant warriors would not go into battle without her blessing and yet some modern astrology simply sees her as pretty face?  Ancient races held her in as high esteem as the Sun and Moon. She had a completely different meaning if she rose before the Sun (the morning star) or after the Sun (the evening star), why don't we use those meanings any more?

This talk will look at the meaning of transiting Venus as a Collective significator of security, success and protection and then examine her transpersonal relationship with the other Earth planet and Big Daddy (Saturn).  Also included will be the cycle of Venus and Sedna, where our earthly desires are matched with those of the planet and Solar System.

That closes the school for the Summer.  The following courses are the preliminary long term ones for the Autmn and Winter, but the details of one day or evening talks going up to Christmas will be added in late August. So, survivors of T-square, look out then.

Support Group for Trainee Astrologers.  This group is for those who want to develop their client consultation skills and learn the importance of using astrology in a counselling or therapeutic environment.  Each member undertakes 1 client session per month and brings this experience to the group for peer consultation, recommendation and support.  Client and group confidentiality must be honoured. Open to all emerging astrologers. Get in touch with Alison if you are interested.

Forcasting and Prediction Course

A 10 week course starting Monday 20th September 2010

Every monday evening from 6.30 to 8.30pm

The course includes:  

Understanding the nature of transits and their impact on the collective and a natal chart.

The Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune cycle in a natal chart.

Orbital periods of all transiting planets.  

   How to predict the timing of events during a trans-personal transit.

How to predict the nature of the events and 'bend' the energy to use it to the best advantage.

Preparing and understanding secondary progressed charts and their meaning.

The progressed Moon cycle.

The rules involved in Transits to Natal and Transits to Progressed charts.

The significance of Progressed Planets reaching Natal chartpoints and Houses.

The techniques involved in Solar Return charts.

After this course, you will have all the tools at your disposal to accurately and confidently use the coming transits to the best of your advantage.  You will know how to set your sails in the best position, so you can `bend` the energy and achieve a wonderfully positive outcome.  No more cowering under the fear of an upcoming aspect from Saturn.

Only £150 for the whole course of ten sessions. This has to be booked and paid for by Sept 1st.

4 week Synastry Course in January 2011

A 4 week course on the studying the art of synastry. Students will learn to handle combined charts, bi-wheels and synastry grids. We will examine sexual, romantic, firendship and family charts.  What to develop and what might require a degree of sensitivity.  What to look for in romance and what to avoid!  How to relate better with parents and children.  All your relationships will improve immensely. 

 This course costs £60, payable by cheque or credit card before 15th December.
